Dr. Eduardo Marinho is a post-doctorate researcher at the Center for International Forestry Research; specializing in the benefit sharing schemes of national and sub-national REDD+ initiatives. Eduardo has a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Economics from University of Namur; and a Master’s degree and a PhD in Agronomy from the University of Louvain. After working for the World Food Programme and the Joint Research Centre on the monitoring of food security in Sub-Saharian Africa, he is now developing methods for quantifying the plethora of costs that emerge from the implementation of REDD+ in Brazil and Indonesia.
