• The objectives of the Forum on "How Enhancing Transparency and Accountability Will Help REDD+ Meet its Climate and Development Objectives"are to allow REDD+ and anti-corruption policy-makers from eight LAC UN-REDD partner countries to have a space to discuss potential strategies on how to prevent corruption risks in REDD+ and identify inputs and recommendations to integrate tailored anti-corruption preventive measures in REDD+ national strategies.

• The objectives of the Regional Workshop on the UN-REDD Guidelines on Free, Prior and Informed Consentinclude presenting the newly-finalized Guidelines to the government representatives and other stakeholders present, receiving feedback on their applicability, sharing country perspectives on stakeholder participation and engagement, and working together to draft a roadmap of next steps on applying FPIC at the national level customized for each participating country.
